Residential Client Reviews
The best feedback helps future clients understand not only what we built, but how the project was handled.
We had a load-bearing wall coming out to open up the kitchen and living room, and three other outfits either would not touch it or wanted us to find our own engineer. Texas Outlaw walked the house, talked through what the beam had to carry, and worked from our engineer’s drawings once we had them. The steel went in on the day they said it would and the framer had no surprises.
Our driveway gate had to clear a slope and still look like it belonged with the house. They took measurements on site instead of guessing, and the panels line up perfectly with the fence. Two years in and it still swings true.
Steel patio cover over the pool deck. They designed around the existing columns so we did not lose any deck space, and the welds are clean enough that we left the steel exposed instead of boxing it in.
I came to them with a photo off the internet and no drawings. They told me straight what would and would not work on my house, then priced the version that made sense. No pressure to add anything.
Second-story addition needed a steel frame and the access was terrible — narrow side yard, mature oaks, no crane room. They planned the lift before fabricating, split the assembly so it could come in by hand, and it went together on site exactly as drawn. That planning is what you are actually paying for.
Custom stair stringers and a steel handrail for the entry. Fit and finish were better than the millwork around it.
Replaced a rotted wood carport with a steel one sized for a truck and a boat. Straightforward job, honest quote, done in the window they gave me.
They fabricated an exposed steel frame for our great room and a matching media wall. The blackened finish is consistent across both, which matters when the pieces are twenty feet apart and you can see them at the same time. They also caught a dimension problem in our architect’s drawing before anything was cut.

03Commercial
Commercial Client Reviews
General contractors, developers, builders, and property owners are often managing schedules, other trades, project documents, deliveries, inspections, and field conditions at the same time.
We use them for structural packages on commercial builds because they show up with the steel ready to set. Shop drawings come back fast, RFIs get answered, and their crew works around our other trades instead of stopping the job.
Structural steel and erection on a two-story retail shell. They handled both scopes, which meant one point of contact for the schedule instead of three.
Miscellaneous metals package — stairs, guardrail, equipment platforms. All of it fit the approved drawings and passed inspection the first time. That is not the norm.
We specified an exposed steel canopy with tight reveals and they held the tolerances. When a connection detail was not going to work in the field they called us with a fix rather than building it wrong.
Commercial metal building with wide equipment openings. The structural design came from our engineer and they fabricated straight off it, no back and forth. Erection crew had it standing in four days.
Storefront steel and entry features across three tenant spaces. They kept the finishes matched between suites even though the work ran over several months.
Good communication is the whole thing on a commercial job. They tell you when something will be late instead of letting you find out on delivery day.
Heavy structural package on a tight urban site — no laydown area, deliveries had to be staged by the hour. They sequenced the fabrication so each load came in the order we could set it. Most fabricators will not think that far ahead, and it saved us a week of crane time.
